Dubbo CYMS have maintained their 11-match winning run in 2016, cruising to a 46-4 victory over Wellington in a sometimes fiery Group 11 match at Kennard Park.
The Cowboys had the early bulk of possession but on 13 minutes it was the Fishies, through front rower Jarryn Power, who were first on the board.
Six minutes later Billy Sing stepped through daintily for their second.
There was nothing sweet about a fight which saw CYMS centre John Grey and Wellington’s second rower spend time in the sin bin, but it made no difference to replacement Lincoln Kavangah who went underneath defenders to score.
Kieran Shipp and Alex Bonham waltzed over before half time, although Wellington did get points back when prop Kenny Everson surged over for 30-4 at the break..
The second half didn’t rise to any great football heights.
Shipp grabbed his second, while Ben Marlin and Jordan Reynolds both scored from surging runs and an easy passage through the middle of the ruck.
